What’s New: Dutchess Auto Body

June 24, 2012
By
If you haven’t visited John Ammaturo’s spruced up waiting area over at Dutchess Auto Body, then you will be in for a real treat. From the soothing earth tones, to the slate floor, to the stone work behind the counter, Dutchess Auto Body is a great place to ‘set a spell” as you wait for your car to be repaired. Coffee is brewing, flat screen is available to while away the time, but the very best part is the amazing mural of Pawling that was painted by Pawling’s own Ned Reade.
Reminiscent of  Norman Rockwell’s famous painting of the main street of Stockbridge, Massachusetts, it has charm and vibrancy and elicits an emotional response that will only make you smile (widely). Ned may actually make prints of this beautiful village rendition available for purchase, so stay tuned for more on that.
Meantime, if you’re getting your oil changed, tank filled or simply walking by, I encourage you to stop in to say hello to John in his jazzed up waiting room, and take a long slow look at Ned’s painting.  If you didn’t walk in happy, I guarantee that you WILL walk out that way.
Dutchess Auto Body and Service Center is located at 32 E. Main Street in Pawling.
