PPR at the Farmers Market

Pawling Public Radio was at the farmers market this past weekend and will continue to be there through August 4.

The Farmers Market will be open all summer on the Pawling Green, and it is the perfect place to talk to representatives of local farms and pick up fresh vegetables and even ice cream and jams.  The team at Pawling Public Radio will be manning their booth, so, come by  to learn more about our station and website, and find out how you can volunteer and contribute to this community- building project.  There will be PPR polo shirts, t-shirts and hats for sale, and you can pick up valuable info about PPR as well.

PPR’s summer college interns are also conducting “Man on the Green” interviews, which will be edited and broadcasted in the weeks to follow.  This week’s “Man on the Green” question was, “What is your favorite vegetable?” Tune in to pawlingpublicradio.org or listen to 101.7 in the village to see what veggie your friends and neighbors like best!
