What made this recent concert particularly special for Joseph and me was that The Voices of Hope (formed ten years ago), a group comprised of very talented and accomplished performers and our wonderful neighbors, presented an eloquent selection of colorful, rhythmical music/lyrics of Cole Porter in the Gallery at the Belle Levine Arts Center, Mahopac surrounded by the magnificent art works created by area artists.
This was an uplifting evening, an evening to hum along, sway and tap our feet to favorite tunes such as “So in Love” “Friendship” Begin the Beguine” “Night and Day” “I Get a Kick Out of You” and so many more. Featured in the accompanying photos are the artists involved in a delightfully great event to benefit the Putnam Arts Council.
