The 93 year old KAA, is one of the oldest art associations in the state and the Elected Artists’ Invitational & Solo Show is the fifth of its 2016 season. Elected Artists’ Invitational & Solo Show is an annual juried show whereby artists who have previously exhibited with KAA will be eligible to have their works judged for entry and special recognition awards.  KAA is proud to announce that this year’s judges are Abe Echevarria, renowned illustrator, educator and artist and acclaimed photographer / designer and founder of the multimedia production company, Silver Sun Studio, John Kane.

KAA shows remaining for the season are:  President’s Juried Show, July 2 – August 4; Member Show II, Aug. 13 to Sept. 2; Fall Juried Show, Sept. 4 to Oct. 11; Small Works, Recurring – concurrent with other regular shows; Portfolio, Recurring – concurrent with other regular shows.

Presently showing at the Kent Art Association is 2016 Show for Show which will be on display from May 22-24.

The KAA Gallery is located at 21 South Main St. (south of the traffic light/monument on Rt. 7) in Kent, CT.  It is Open Thurs-Sun 1-5 pm, plus Monday holidays as open days where applicable. There is no admission charge and all works on exhibit are for sale.
