Here we are in summer, after a rough spring, and I’m hoping you are finding time to relax and kick back a bit. The stressful disorientation and health challenges continue so it is really important that we are allowing ourselves to rest and do the things that feed our soul.
I have been playing a lot of music and singing, which bring much nourishment to me. We also are going out on the water in our new sailboat and having adventures of learning, beauty and a larger respect for the power of the wind, water and nature in general. There is nothing like pursuing a challenging passion to focus the mind, renew the spirit and rejuvenate the heart.
What are you doing to focus, renew and rejuvenate? The opportunity in this new way of living is to slow down, take a closer look at what holds meaning for you and reorient your life towards that which nourishes. This is the time to relax as much as possible into the unknown and find the known in your own personal choices. What do you know for sure about your life, your longings, how you want to spend this precious time you have been given?
This is the time. Take it and own it. Live the life you have imagined. Come alive to the wonder and beauty and explore what is possible. Give that gift to yourself. If not now, when?
Best to you—
