The Pawling Resource Center has, for many years, received support from the United Way of Dutchess and Orange Region (UWDOR) for its transportation programs, which provide rides for Pawling seniors and others who do not drive to needed medical appointments, and to access food. This support comes in the form of an annual grant, with rigorous application and reporting required. United Way representatives Sharon Shah and Shannon Myers recently made a site visit to the PRC and provided a certificate of appreciation for the Center’s programs, which answer a vital need in the community . Shown here is Sharon Shah presenting a certificate to Terry Ariano, Executive Director of the PRC.
