Saturday, November 15th promises to be one of the most delicious days on the calendar, as the Pawling Rotary Club presents Its first annual Chocolate Festival, raising funds this year for Camp Sundown and children with xeroderma pigmentosum.
The festival begins at 11 a.m. and will end at 3p.m. at the Lathrop Center in Lakeside Park.
This is a community event, and all Chocolate lovers are encouraged to bring the family, their sweet tooth, and the holiday shopping list, as this will be a fabulous opportunity to purchase extraordinary gifts for everyone on that list and take advantage of the incredible roster of vendors and chocolatiers that will be exhibiting their wares. The list of vendors is impressive and includes:
|BB cupcakes, The Blue Olive , Cheesecake Heaven, Dolci Bella Fine Foods, Forget Me Not Cupcakes, Good Tidings, Hannaford’s, Honeybrook Farms, HUDSON Valley Sheep & Wool Co., Magnolias, Mama’s Pizza, McGraths, Mckinney and Doyle, New York Life, Pawling Public Radio, Petite on Main, Quick Stop, Quilt Basket, Rogues on the Road, Seasoned, and Wandering FoodiesThe teens from the Interact Club will be there to play games and offer prizes to all the children in attendance so that parents and adults will be free to sample, nosh, and dip. Rotary members will man the chocolate milk booth, the Smore’s table, and the abundant Chocolate Fountain.If you are crazy about chocolate, know someone who is, or consider chocolate to be one of the major food groups, your $5.00 entrance fee ( $2.00 for children under 12) will support a wonderful cause while satisfying your yen for deep, dark, milk or unsweetened, melted or fudgy CHOCOLATE!
