The Karate students from Pawling Karate located at 56 Charles Coleman Blvd. in Pawling, celebrated Halloween again this year by collecting goods at their holiday party for the Pawling Resource Center food bank . On Saturday, October 22, three carloads of food was delivered by the students and their parents. In all, 1016 pounds of food was brought to the food bank.
This was the second year that Alexis Sterry, founder and chief instructor at Pawling Karate, encouraged her students to share the bounties of this season with those less fortunate, by donating to the Resource Center. Kudos to Alexis, her parents Ken and Bernadette… and kudos to their Karate Kids!
