Our presenter, florist Erica Savereid, arrived early to begin setting up for her floral arranging program. She had with her a bounty of materials. It took some time to place all in order. Only moments after doing so, participants began entering the building and their eyes were drawn to a long table covered with an assortment of flowers. A short while later, the full length of the community room in our annex was transformed by bursts of color. Although the same flowers were primarily used, each arrangement had its own distinctive style. At evening’s end, all departed with smiles and a living work of art in hand.
We thank the talented and kind Erica Saveried for giving to us this beautiful program. She and the many gifted people like herself who conduct presentations at the Pawling Library are the treasures that enrich our community.
