Yin Yoga / Meditation: A New Monthly Program at the Pawling Library
On Wednesday, September 16th we debut of our new Yin Yoga / Meditation class. An additional class takes place on Wednesday, September 23rd. The time for both classes is from 6:30-7:30 pm.
Yin yoga’s gentle poses, or asanas, are slower than other forms of yoga. Following the exercise portion of the program our instructor, Maria Polhemus, will lead a soothing guided meditation.
Be rejuvenated. Quiet and calm your mind and body. Release the day’s tensions and return once again to whom you truly are.
There is no cost to participate. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or blanket. Registration is required for all programs. Call the Pawling Library at 845-855-3444 to register.
