A musical story by Marian Grudko
At the JOHN KANE HOUSE
Sunday, October 17th at 2:00 pm
The air is poisoned, the water harsh and bitter. The Bog is in
trouble and the dragonflies are leaving–all except Sura, a small blue
dragonfly who stays behind and sets out to save Dickinson Bog Turtle.
More than a story of an endangered wetland, “Dragonfly Bog” is a tale
or friendship, sacrifice, and the power of music.
Marian will perform the story, accompanied by her enchanting musical score.
Originally a ballet, “Dragonfly Bog” has been called the “Swan Lake of
the 21st century.”
Please join us for this moving event.
And do stay for refreshments and conversation after the show.
Just a little note: For our younger audience members, this program is
