Hello readers and writers!
Owing to the success of our first poetry foray, “This Must Be Love,” and the wonderful readers and poets who participated, Pawling Public Radio Theatre Hour is presenting another “Poetry Slam,” this time to commemorate the Fourth of July. Please let me know if you are interested and what you would like to read. Poems or lyrics must be original or public domain, and pass FCC regulations, and personally, I request nothing that’s anti other nationalities or cultures. Currently, we already have an original poem as well as a reader for “The Bivouac of the Dead.” Everything else that’s American, patriotic, etc. is available. If you prefer a certain patriotic song to play under your reading, let me know that as well.
I hope to have all poems recorded by mid June. I will be hearing from the engineers as to available recording times, but if you already know what days/times you are available to read, let me know and I will check with them to see if they coincide with openings.
