One of the featured speakers at the July 14th meeting was Nick Costantino, newly elected Rotary District Governor, who talked enthusiastically about this years Rotary theme, “Be a Gift to the World.” Nick’s personal goals for Pawling’s district are to “have fun!”, because he believes that enjoying the time devoted to Rotary will result in good works; “do good, and take it up one notch and do a little bit more”; and to “understand the role of the district”, which among other directives, is to honor Rotary’s mission.
Also introduced at the July 14th meeting was Peter Hansen, Assistant District Governor, and Penny Byron, immediate past District Governor.
Pawling Rotary meets every Tuesday at noon through the summer at the Lions Club building in Murrow Park.
