On June 1, Scorpion Child and Crobot will be playing at The Studio at Webster Hall in New York City. They both hearken back to the 1970s psychedelic era.
On June 12, Devildriver, Whitechapel, Carnifex, Revocation, Rivers of Nihil, and Fit For An Autopsy will be playing at Stage 48 in New York City. For the metalcore and deathcore fans out there, this is the show for you.
If that’s not your cup of tea, Pallbearer, Hull, Planning For Burial, Yellow Eyes, and Vilkacis will be playing at Europa in Brooklyn. It features bands from the entire spectrum of extreme metal, from the slow thuds and chugging guitars of doom metal, to the fast-paced percussiveness of death metal.
The classic metal fans certainly won’t be left out this month – Sanctuary, an Iron Maiden tribute band, Spirit of Dio, a Dio tribute band, and Death and Healing are all playing at The Chance in Poughkeepsie New York on June 14.
Black Star Riders, the successor band to wildly popular 1970s and 1980s act Thin Lizzy, is playing at the BB King Blues Club and Grill in New York City June 17.
On June 19, Black Star Riders, Starstruck, and Blindman are playing at The Chance in Poughkeepsie. For those who are fans of the classic metal sound, this show will be absolutely killer.
On June 21, metal drummer brothers Carmine and Vinny Appice will be facing off together in a drum battle for their first round at The Chance in Poughkeepsie New York.
Also that night, Unearth and Cruel Hand will be playing at The Studio at Webster Hall in New York City. These guys will bring no-holds barred, aggressive thrash straight to the eardrums.
On June 24, the death metal-oriented Conquerers of the World Festival will grace New York City’s presence with Septicflesh, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour of Penance, and Necronomicon at The Gramercy Theatre.
That same night, The Last Alliance, Fiakra, Burning Shadows, and Psychoprism will be playing at The Grand Victory in Brooklyn, a great show for those who like a bit of folk infused with their metal.
On June 25, Scott Stapp, the lead singer of popular late ‘90s rock band Creed, will be playing at The Chance in Poughkeepsie..
Saliva, Hyngd, Everwar, Years Apart, and One Day Waiting, all premier hard rock bands of the 2010s, will also be playing at The Chance on June 27.
On June 28, The Chance is putting on yet another headbanger, with glam metal tribute bands such as Big Guns, Sato, and Dr. Feelgood taking the stage.
That same night, its upstairs sister venue, The Loft, will be hosting Sworn Enemy and Silence The Messenger will be playing a deathcore show. Poughkeepsie will certainly be loud that night.
Lastly, on June 30, Agalloch and Jex Thoth, bands that combine progressive and doom, will be playing at Irving Plaza in New York City.
