The Pawling Varsity Boy’s Basketball team coached by Jason Kuhlmann played two games this week. On Tuesday, January 29 they topped Haldane 50 to 47 and the energy in the gym was at an all-time high as the Tigers move towards their goal of league champs. Justin Mayette and Domenic Farese each scored 15 points for the Tigers in this home win and Sean Morris scored 10 points.
On Wednesday, January 30 the Tigers traveled to Hendrick Hudson High School and won their 5th straight game with a final score of 49 to 47. Domenic Farese had a team high 17 points. The Tigers had the lead at the end of both the first quarter and second quarter and had a lead of as much as 17 points. The fourth quarter was very intense and the score was actually tie 46-46 with only 50.7 seconds left in the game…but the Tigers hit their free throws down the stretch to win. Sean Morris added 14 points and 15 rebounds for Pawling
