If you weren’t in the Village of Pawling on Saturday morning, September 8, then you missed the party!!
Entering from the south, atop the crest at Charles Coleman Boulevard, the town was awash with activity. From the Farmer’s Market, with It’s live music and amazing produce, to the Side Walk Sales of our local shopkeepers along Charles Coleman, to the community members with their useful garage sale items, the little piece of heaven called Pawling was buzzing.
Parking was a bit of a problem… but what a good problem to have! The side streets were packed with parked cars and Pawling patrons were exiting their vehicles in droves just to see and buy! It really was an exciting place to be on a county Saturday morning!
The weather also seemed to be on our side. Amid a few downpours, the sun popped in and out of the cloud cover…keeping the temperatures down and spirits way up.
Here’s hoping, if you were among the happy shoppers, that you found just what you were looking for!
Special thanks to Marie Stewart for her great organization skills…everything went off without a hitch!
