The Pawling Tigers Varsity Girls basketball team traveled to Keio Academy on December 15. The girls played a great game; at half time the score was 10 to 11 with Pawling in the lead and the 3Q score as 23 to 17 with Pawling ahead as well. Pawling won with a final score of 33 to 25. “We had a pretty solid effort from everybody,” Pawling coach John Sullivan said.
On December 16 the Girls played Walter Panas at their home court. They were defeated with a final score of 26 to 45.
On December 18 the Girls traveled to Rye Neck. Some great defense was played by Dana Farese and Lauren Folchetti, but they lost with a final score of 38 Pawling and 55 Rye Neck.
The Pawling Tigers Varsity Girls basketball team spent a lot of time practicing over the holiday break. On January 5 they played a home game against Valhalla. They were defeated with a final score of 28 to 60. Mackenzie Meissner scored 10 points.
The Tigers host Dover on Thursday, January 8 at 5:15 p.m.
