Come join us at the JCC in Sherman on Saturday, April 27th at 7:00PM as we watch a video interview (produced by the Jewish Broadcasting Network) with our member Maks Etingin tell his story of the survival during the holocaust. Born in Vilnius, Lithuania in 1927, Maks, along with his brother and parents, experienced many hardships – first being in the ghetto and then being hidden in a hole underground. His story is one of many miracles. Maks Etingin will be present after the showing of the video for a Q&A.
This event is free and open to everyone in the community. There will be light hors d’oeuvres served. We do ask you to please reserve a seat by calling/emailing us at 860.355.8050 or firstname.lastname@example.org .
