The Brewster Theater Company’s Armchair Actors will present a reading of Frank Capra’s delightful story, It’s A Wonderful Life, on Saturday, Dec 1st at 6:30 PM after the Southeast Museum Annual Caroling and Tree Lighting. Performances will be held at The Studio Around the Corner, 67 Main St. Brewster….at the rear of the Southeast Old Town Hall.
Come be part of a fun-filled holiday reading with George, Mary, Clarence and all the good folks ofBedfordFalls! Presented as a radio ‘soap’ in the 1940’s Lux Theater tradition, this reading will feature local performers including Shirley Creazzo, Eric Schuster, Patricia Sebastian, Tony DeCristofaro, Rose Ann Martin, Steve Martin, Barbara Disraeli, Jonathon Vair, Shawn Brown, Nina Wilson, and Rocky Colavito. Directed by Debbie Levin, this recreation of the heart-warming story of what the life of one man can mean to so many is the perfect lead in to the holiday season and all the good will that it brings.
This event is made possible, in part by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NY State Legislature and with public funds from PutnamCounty. These grant programs are managed and monitored by the Putnam Arts Council.
