This week, Pawling Public Radio debuted its new theatre talk show, Intermission!, and we went live!
With a “lost pilot” show already in the archives, Intermission! had its premiere hour in real time with interactive callers and social media friends, to the delight of co-hosts Christine Bexley and Jovan Bradley.
With an undercurrent of the deepest love and respect for theatre, the show features insights to local auditions and performances, trips down the hosts’ theatrical memories and the latest in Broadway news, including surprising subjects and old favorites coming to the Great White Way. This week, you’ll learn what iconic musician is soon to be immortalized in showtunes, what an Australian rocker-comedian has to do with Punxsutawney Phil, how Jovan is changing the “Frozen” landscape, and Jovan and Christine revisit the threatening-to-be regular “Great Newsies Debate.”
Intermission! is proud to be Pawling’s live, call-in theatre talk show for all who enjoy being in and around theatre. Listen for us live every Saturday at 10 am, with a rebroadcast on Wednesdays at 6 pm, follow us on Twitter at @IntermRadio, friend us on facebook at intermissionradio, and we’ll talk at Intermission!
