Bon Voyage to the 2015 Brewster High School Student Exchange Delegation to China! Eighteen students, along with chaperones George Viglucci and Lauren Ellis, departed on Tuesday for a thirteen-day trip. They arrive in Shanghai where they will meet their individual host families – students of Jian Ping High School – with whom they will live for 6 days. They will attend classes and rehearsal with the Chinese students and participate in two concerts on at the high school on Friday and the other at the middle school on Monday. While in Shanghai the students will enjoy the Huangpu River Cruise, Yu Yuan Gardens, Tianzifang, the Shanghai Museum and the Shanghai Museum of Musical Instruments. The students will depart for Beijing on Tuesday and will there will visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Ming Tomb, Lama Temple and will even learn the art of negotiating at a local Beijing market. Before heading home they will attend a Kung Fu Show!
