Mark Weiss, Education Director for Operation Respect, the international anti-bullying organization, spoke to the eighth grade at Pawling Middle School on Tuesday, October 22, during Red Ribbon Week. The students were interested and eager to participate in the discussion about accepting and supporting students at risk from bullying behaviors. Thanks to community support, Pawling Public Radio has been able to contract with Operation Respect to bring two workshops to Pawling’s students.  The final workshop will be presented to Pawling High School’s teen leadership at their retreat on Sunday, October 27.
