Pawling Public Radio has already produced two original works, A HUMAN TOUCH which aired in March and April, and THE DUTCHER HOUSE – a 5 part series based on the historical characters that made the town of Pawling – which will air in July. The Theatre Hour Committee partnering with the Education Committee at PPR wants to move forward with more new, exciting and professionally produced projects by local writers casting local artists. Having the opportunity to train with Mr. Simon will enhance the quality of work that PPR can bring to the public while promoting our local talent and taking everyone to the next level. Maybe you’re an actor and you want to build up your confidence or brush up your skills. Maybe you’re a writer who would like to submit a play and hear your words travel over the airways! Maybe you would like to help direct Pawling Public Radio Theatre Hour’s next original radio show.
The training lab is open to actors, writers, directors and all other performers, technicians – anyone who would like to be involved in producing radio theatre.
