Dimensions: Structures and Furniture
Gallery on the Green introduces its new exhibition of work from two artists, Henry Baker and Charles Griffith. Both are renowned creative professionals with an unexpected talent outside their fields. The exhibit opens with a reception 5-7 pm on November 13 through December 15th.
Charles Griffith hand-builds Shaker furniture to order in Pound Ridge, NY. In 2009, he was the winner of Fine Woodworking magazine’s Shaker furniture competition. Chuck is an advertising consultant and copywriter.
Henry Baker has been building structures for over 10 years. Originally inspired by follies of English gardens, he has turned his attention to interpreting idiosyncratic buildings here and in other countries. Henry is a partner in a NYC design firm that specializes in contemporary housewares.
“We are looking forward to exhibiting the work of these skilled and imaginative craftsman.” Said Gallery owner, Michelle Farnum,
“Both Henry and Chuck are well known for their excellence and creativity in their professional fields. Not everyone knows about their personal work. It’s a dimension we are proud to be able to show the rest of the world.”
