Pawling Public Radio is pleased to announce the 2013 winners of our annual writing contest. This year’s subject was in keeping with PPR’s year long anti-bullying initiative. Winning essays can be read right here on our website on the 2013 Essay Contest page which may be accessed on the banner at the top of the home page. PPR looks forward to our three winners recording their winning submissions for broadcast.
This year’s winners were Angela Impastato, from Mizzentop Day School, in the seventh grade division and Jaclyn Smith , from Pawing Middle School, in the eighth grade division. Winner of the High School division is senior Tori Tanner from Pawling High School. Tori will receive the Pawling Public Radio Scholarship for Excellence in Writing, an award of $250.00.
All winners have also received some pretty nifty PPR Swag, along with winner certificates. Congrats to all!!!
