“Rigatoni” Synopsis
Linda McLaughlin, that veteran of stage and screen, has FINALLY been nominated for a Tony award, and she’s a shoe-in to win! But Linda, on the cusp of achieving that elusive dream, mysteriously dies while dining out with entertainment journalist Kelly Livingston at a neighborhood Italian restaurant. Detective Janovski is on the case, and finds herself zeroing in on the odd behaviour of Nicolo DiPuglia and his son Nicky, who own the family restaurant. What killed Linda McLaughlin? And did it have anything to do with another actress, sweet young Rosie Poole, just at the beginning of her career and nominated for her first Tony Award in the same category as Linda McLaughlin? Would anybody dare try to rig a Tony?
