Colorful, Cozy, Eclectic….The Pawling Café
Vanessa Muro and Julie Hunter are the owners of the Pawling Café. In spite of the fact that they are both long time Pawling residents, they hadn’t known each other prior to last September when their business partnership began. One is a creative ideas person, the other a creative cook. Together, they have opened a charming restaurant on Main Street in the heart of the village, serving breakfast and lunch to a loyal following.
Formerly Bakla Java, The Pawling Café is a warm and friendly place where everything on the menu is under ten dollars. The most popular items served are their paninis, omelets and salads. Their best seller? The Turkey / Brie panini with fresh roasted turkey, cranberry mayo and avocado. Sounds mouthwatering, no? For the vegetarians out there, there are many veggie options, including their popular veggie burger.
Vanessa is a self proclaimed “foodie” whose love of cooking and people makes her the perfect hostess/chef. Her regulars will often have their favorite coffee concoction ready for them before they even sit down.
This is also a kid friendly place. Always good to know for the mom on the go! Sundays and Mondays are available for birthday parties. Little ones will get a tour, a little apron to wear and a cupcake to decorate. Call Vanessa for pricing at 845-855-1325.
The enthusiasm overflows at this newest gathering spot in town, so come on in, pull up a chair, and enjoy. There is a muffin waiting with your name on it!!!
