On Friday July 26th The Pawling Fire Department marched in the Patterson Fireman’s Parade and took top honors. With 32 members of the parade team present, we had 25 members marching in the street three abreast along with our Chief’s Car 54-1, Attack Engine 54-11, Primary Tanker 54-31 and Ladder-Tower 54-45. Chief Everett White was thrilled with the turn out of members saying, “This is something that hasn’t been done in 30 years”. When it came time for Trophies, the Pawling Fire Department basically stole the show by winning four top Trophies, Best Engine, Best Tanker, Best Aerial and Best Overall. This is the second year in a row that we earned Best Overall at Patterson. So far this year the Pawling Fire Department has won 13 Trophies marching in seven parades with one more parade to go in Kent CT. 54-Pawling-Pride!
