WPWL-LP FM, is pleased to announce that we have an opening for the position of Production/On-Air Operations Engineer.

Candidates should have an interest in radio production and/or engineering. He or she should be able to or have the willingness to learn to operate, mix, and edit digital audio under normal broadcast conditions; be able to operate an audio console with numerous audio inputs; operate turntables, audio cart machines, proper microphone placement; operate on-air computer utilizing Studio software; have the ability to edit audio under fast paced conditions; maintain audio levels to accepted broadcast practices; operate phone interface for live phone calls broadcast to air; work and communicate with air talent, producers and other staff members; maintain FCC logs as dictated; and have knowledge of FCC Rules & Regulations. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
