If you have young children that are up early on Saturday mornings, PPR has developed three hours of programming just for them… The Children’s Hour or Three on Pawling Public Radio!
From 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. your little ones can be engaged in singing and dancing as PPR plays its vast library of children’s music and songs. Better still, they can listen to classic stories and poems, read, performed, and recorded by Pawling’s community members. PPR’s children’s programming has also attracted original stories from Billy Steers’s Tractor Mac series, read for PPR by the author, himself.
With a wide array of voices and reading styles, our citizens have donated their time and talents to bring children’s literature to life. Stories and poems are all produced and backed with classical music …just enough to open little hearts and minds to the joys of this very special musical genre!
So, If you haven’t checked out the Children’s Programming on PPR, then tune in this Saturday…and if you have an original tale to tell, or want to volunteer your time to read for our communities kids, then drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org,
Pawling Public Radio…Tune in…and be surprised!!!
