The Janr Ssor Premiere Event was held at Pawling Public Radio’s Studio Sunday Evening, August 16th and what an extraordinary evening of Sci-Fi it was! Dr Joseph Ross,creator of the Janr Ssor Book Series, welcomed family,friends, fans and colleagues to the PPR Studio with a Wine and Cheese reception and to listen to “THE TOUCH”, his story of recurrent dreams and ancient memory as dramatized on the radio. Bill Bonecutter, Producer/ Director and Mike Bergquist, Creative Sound designer, introduced the program and discussed its technical and musical aspects. All present were invited to listen to the story’s narration by Dr. Ross accompanied by an excellent sound score inspired by the “Voyager Interstellar Mission” . This was the first hour of the Janr Ssor. series. Many more are planned for the near future. The audience seemed intensely focused and enchanted listening to Dr. Ross’ eloquent, well crafted adventures. Copious applause and congratulations followed. After the broadcast, Dr.Ross introduced Saundra Blum, a Hypnotist/ therapist, a major influence for “The Touch”. Ms. Blum discussed her therapeutic work utilizing past life regression as one of her tools. There was spirited discussion and sharing of experiences. WPWL-Pawling Public Radio invites one and all to watch for the Janr Ssor Series scheduled for this Fall and beyond. The show will air Saturday night at 8 pm.
