On Tuesday, May 10, the Pawling Rotary Club met at the WPWL studio at 26 East Main Street in Pawling,for their regular weekly meeting, where a presentation about Pawling Public Radio’s programs and progress toward the tower build and licensing was made. Zach Silva, Board member and Chair of the Education Committee spoke briefly about the station’s plans for educational opportunities that will be available for the community as well as plans for an internship program this summer.
Also on this week’s agenda was the induction into Pawling’s Rotary Club of Matt Hogan, the new Executive Director of Akin Hall Association and Librarian at the historic Akin Free Library on Quaker Hill.
