Community Focus

Carol-Lee began her volunteer career as a youngster, a dancer/ performer, at Hospitals, Schools and Organizational events and then as a teen, helped to create recreational programs and activities serving persons with disabilities throughout her high school and college years. Her diversified professional career included teaching, public relations, program development, grant writing and advocacy for regional and national organizations. A Community Organizer/ Medical Social Worker, now not so retired, she especially enjoys creative, development work with Area Organizations. Co-founder of the Pawling Theatre Company in 1982, she produced, directed, acted and taught creative dramatics. At present, she also serves as a Board Member of the Pawling Shakespeare Club and Mended Hearts of Putnam County. Additionally, she loves to paint primarily in oils and exhibits occasionally in the area, when time permits. Carol-Lee and Joseph (her husband of 52 years) have lived in Holmes since 1975 where they raised three beautiful daughters (all attended the Pawling Schools, now blessed with wonderful families of their own.
